Finding the right diet for your lifestyle and one that will keep you happy and trim especially after the age of 40, can prove frustrating and often a confusing task.. Finding the right balance between exercise and eating is the first step, but choosing the best diet for women is a challenge we are often asked at Women’s Health After 40.
There is no correct answer, however. Everyone is different and processes food differently. From the psychological shunning of breakfast or the additional snacks that complement a night at home, routines can stick and become detrimental.
There are, however, a few important things to remember about any diet that you start after the age of 40. As you approach these years of your life, it’s important that you keep the flow of nutrients coming. Some diets give a nod to fasting or starving for portions of the day; this is not healthy.
